An example of this will be : you are out at a party and they offer you to drink, yes you are 22, but you are still living at home w/ your parents, and they prohibit you to drink! So what do you do? You should do what is right. If you know that if you drink is something that your parents wouldn't want then don’t drink, do the right thing!

So when you are deciding whether to do something, you should always pick the right thing to do no matter what !

I think what Howard is trying to say is that if something is popular and everyone is doing it, it still isn't right. For example, if a lot of people are ditching school, only because a lot of people are doing it doesn't make it right. Ditching is wrong, you are losing your education the more and more you ditch. You can also get a ticket and be sent to court. So you shouldn't do the wrong things just because a lot of people are doing it and you want to seem cool. Just care about yourself and do what’s right.
