"The Harmful Effects of Smoking"

Smoking is a very harmful and serious thing to deal with. Smoking is bad for your health. Smoking can also lead to death.  About 443,000 deaths are estimated in the United States each year. An estimated 90% of all lung cancer deaths in men are caused by smoking. About 80% of all lung cancer deaths in women are also caused by smoking. Smoking doesn’t only effect your lungs it also effects other parts of your body like your teeth. Smoking also can damage the airways and alveoli in your body. Smoking reduces the health of smokers. Smoking is bad addiction and you should stop if you are smoking on a daily basis. If you haven’t tried a cigarette then you should never try one because your health is very important and you should not risk it at all.

  • Bladder cancer
  • Cancer of the cervix
  • Cancer of the esophagus
  • Kidney cancer
  • Cancer of the larynx (voice box)
  • Lung cancer
  • Cancer of the oral cavity (mouth)
  • Cancer of the pharynx (throat)
  • Stomach cancer
