Gold medalist Alex Schwazer

This Olympic winner for race walking was Alex Schwazer from Italy. The gold medalist and champion for race walking. But he was soon caught, the next day there was a banning on him for use of drugs. He held a long conference to explain the happening; he explained that he was happy for this. He was happy that he didn’t have that extra weight on his back—he was relieved, because the news was finally out there and he could not take it anymore. What was really going through Alex’s mind? Guilt, pure guilt and he was ashamed of it, and that is what choosing the wrong can lead to, it will all catch up to you eventually. And it did, sadly Alex was kicked out of the London Games by a doping ban. He might have won, but at the end you are a loser, because you cheated and lied and chose the wrong.
